Heres some images of textures and surfaces i've experimented with for my current module at Uni.
I've used various scanned in materials such as sponged poster paint, handmade paper, cardboard, crumpled tissue, brown paper, felt, satin and old book pages.
The idea is to start creating patterns and textures for film scratches which can then both be animated in after effects.
